Matt Nida joined Crackit in 2018 after fifteen years as a freelancer specialising in comedy, entertainment and arts programming. He was Series Producer on sixteen instalments of Channel 4’s top-rated festive staple The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. He also made Channel 5’s first comedy panel show in nearly twenty years, It’s Not Me It’s You, and a number of programmes with Al Murray including Compete For The Meat (Dave), the Great British Movies strand (BBC4), and the Battle for South Thanet political mockumentary (Dave).

He co-wrote and edit produced the first series of Channel 4’s hit Very British Problems, and has credits on some of the biggest comedy and entertainment shows of the last decade and a half, including Would I Lie To You, 8 out of 10 Cats, Charlie Brooker’s You Have Been Watching, Mock The Week and The Friday Night Project.
