Dinah Gray

Head of Development

Dinah started her TV career licensing US gameshow formats like The Price Is Right and Supermarket Sweep at Fremantle, as well as making ancillary deals based on those ideas and on scripted properties like Baywatch.

Eventually tiring of selling suntan lotion, she moved into creative programme development at Carlton, later joining BBC Entertainment as a development producer where she dreamed up the international singing format Just the Two Of Us and showed off her first-rate grammar with the BBC4 panel game Never Mind The Full Stops. She was head of development at Leopard Films (Robbed Raided Reunited for BBC Daytime, Trade Your Way to the USA CBBC) and at Sundog Pictures (devising the What Britain Bought brand for C4, Reggie Yates’ Extreme UK for BBC3, The Trouble With Dad: David Baddiel on Dementia for C4, MPs Behind Closed Doors for C5), as well as developing fact ent, documentaries and features as development exec at Renegade Pictures, Little Gem and Betty.

She joined Crackit as head of development in January 2019.
